Cancellation Policy:
Applies to all guided kayak trips/adventures and all kayak rentals paid for
by check, cash, debit card, and or credit card.
GUIDED SEA KAYAKING ADVENTURES / KAYAK RENTALS
Please read the following cancellation policy carefully. Through feedback from staff and clients alike, this policy has been developed to not only meet the needs of this company, but to make it as reasonable as possible for the clients as well.
Operating a seasonal business in a remote area means we have to maximize our limited season. When you book a tour, we are committed to this. We commit our kayaks, our guides, food costs and preparation, and office administration. Often we have to turn potential guests away because we are booked up. Please honor your booking and this cancellation policy.
Deposit may be made with cash, local check, Mastercard, or Visa. Reservations will be honored upon receipt of

CANCELLATIONS of 15 or more days before reservation: Deposit will be refunded less a $50 handling fee per person cancelled.
CANCELLATIONS within 14 days of reservation: Deposit will be retained up to a maximum of $500 per booking.
CANCELLATIONS within 7 days of reservation: There will be no refunds.
What about the weather?
Sea kayaking in Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park often means kayaking in the rain. Get good gear! Our cancellation policy is still in effect during rainy days.
If Adventure Sixty North LLC is forced to cancel a class or trip for any reason; the trip will be rescheduled or refunded. Adventure Sixty North LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip due to the discretion of our personnel and their field experience. In such cases, our liability extends to the cost of the class or trip only, not travel and accommodations made by our customers. Once a trip has begun, it may be altered, delayed, extended, or terminated at any time not limited to weather, mechanical breakdowns, natural emergencies, medical emergencies, etc, WE ISSUE NO REFUNDS!
For trips and rentals between the months of September and April, a deposit will not be retained at the time of reservation. A credit card number must be obtained and will still be charged in the event that a customer cancels within the stated days of the cancellation policy.
PLEASE CONSIDER TRIP/TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR YOUR PROTECTION
We strongly advise our guests to purchase trip cancellation insurance and travel insurance for your Alaskan travels in the event a cancellation occurs.
Adventure Sixty North LLC does not and cannot accept responsibility for personal property such as, cameras, binoculars, watches, jewelry, glasses, clothing, gear, etc.
