Kayak & Canoe rentals are available for experienced boaters
Canoe rental now available on Trail Lake, Moose Pass (Trail Lake Lodge)
All kayak rentals with destinations other than inside Resurrection Bay will be required to have marine vhf radio in the group, if you do not have one we rent them. (please review the Glacier Sea Kayking Safety link below. We will not make any exceptions to this policy, please do not ask us to do so.
All rental gear customers must sign our Acknowledgement of Risk and Assuptiontion of Risk and Liability waiver for any rental gear to rent our gear. Printable PFD Copy
If you are not a experienced sea kayaker or canoer, we suggest that you participate in a guided paddle, or get some instruction before coming to Seward to rent sea kayaks or canoes, and sea kayak or canoe in these waters.
Adventure Sixty North offers a introductory kayaking class to teach self rescue and wet exits and very basic paddle & safety information.
All rental participants should be proficient at performing self rescues using a paddle float technique before participating in any self guided kayaking activity! We may ask you to demonstrate a self rescue on land before renting a sea kayak.

and Glacier Sea Kayaking Safety.
Included with rental as a courtesy! Loaner Maps will be provided for your kayaking adventure.
We transport rentals to and from our office to local beach drop offs - Lowell Point, 4th of July beach and local boat
boat ramps. We drop off and pickup!
Our kayaks may be transported by our renters on, Allen's Alaska Adventures, Weather Permitting WaterTaxi, and by Jim Barkleys Salt water Lodge boats. We transport kayaks & canoes by trailer if nesessary.
Rental kayaks are located at our office near Seward, and in Bear Glacier. (call to reserve yours)

Water taxi operators do not want to transport loaded kayaks to or from kayaking destinations, please plan
to have your gear in appropriate containers to be transported on deck or in a hold of a boat.

Water taxi operators will appreciate a sponged out kayak before they load it onto their boat. Please clean out your rental! Its good karma (Kayak or Canoe)Lost and or damaged rental kayaks, canoes or rental gear will be charged to the person signing the rental agreement. Cost will be determined per rental agreement contract. All rentals require a signed rental agreement and a signed release of liability/waver! Cost of finding and retrieving lost kayaks, canoes, gear will also be charged to the person signing the rental agreement. Any/All rescue costs are the responsibility of the person or persons renting the kayaks/s or Canoe/s.
