Experience the best gold panning tours in Seward, Alaska!

We’ll start with a gold panning demonstration at our elevated rustic water troughs, conveniently located on our property just behind our office and across from the walking bridge over Clear Creek. Depending on the salmon run, we can often spot salmon in the creek.

Rain or shine, our tarp-covered log structure ensures a comfortable and dry experience. Our personalized, how-to demonstrations will quickly have you panning like a pro, all while sharing some local humor and history.

While we cannot predict the exact amount of gold or gems you will find, we ensure that every bag of our pay dirt contains flakes of gold and other semi-precious stones. This guarantees that everyone has the opportunity to discover and take home their very own Alaskan gold and gems!

Best of all, you keep everything you find! We provide the pans, local information, historical and geological insights, instruction, humor, glass vials for your gold specimens, and a container for your semi-precious stones, including garnets, fluorite, quartz, red jasper, and many others.

Exit Glacier Shuttle Only

Our shuttle service offers convenient pick-up and drop-off at the Exit Glacier Nature Center in the Kenai Fjords National Park. We’ll pick you up in the Seward area approximately 15-20 minutes before your scheduled departure time. For your return trip, simply choose your preferred time when booking. Depending on the number of guests, our shuttles may include buses, vans, or mini-vans.
