Resurrection Bay offers sea kayakers a dream-like experience. The bay’s calm waters, sheltered by three islands, are perfect for kayaking amidst stunning snow-capped mountains and turquoise glacial waters teeming with marine life.
We offer half-day and full-day kayaking trips to Tonsina Point, Bridal Veil Falls, and Caines Head (upon request), each providing a unique glimpse into Resurrection Bay’s beauty. For a more immersive experience, consider our overnight and multi-day trips, which allow you to fully explore the bay.
Our trips operate rain or shine, and we only cancel due to high winds that could create dangerous kayaking conditions.
As for wildlife sightings, while humpback, fin, and killer whales may be spotted in early May, we have consistent up-close encounters with bald eagles, harbor seals, sea otters, Steller sea lions, harbor porpoise, and numerous sea birds throughout the season. Additionally, salmon runs occur all summer, with sightings on our side of the bay becoming more frequent in August and September.
We offer half-day, full-day, and multi-day options throughout the summer season!
