Join us for a stunning kayaking adventure along the coastline of Resurrection Bay!
This tour is perfect for anyone looking to kayak in the bay and hike through a beautiful spruce forest. We will take you to Tonsina Beach to explore Tonsina Creek and the Ghost Forest, where you will have the opportunity to encounter local wildlife.
The trip begins at our shop, where we will get geared up before driving through downtown Seward to our launch site at Lowell Point Beach. Our guide will conduct a safety briefing before we hit the water. From there, we will paddle approximately 1.5 miles along the western coastline towards Tonsina Creek. Along the way, you may spot local wildlife such as sea ducks, diving birds, eagles, porpoises, harbor seals, or sea lions.
Upon arriving at Tonsina Beach, we will stretch our legs with a hike through the forest and an exploration of the creek. Depending on the season, you may even see salmon fighting their way upstream. After enjoying a snack and exploring the area, we will paddle back along the coastline to Lowell Point.
