Other Situations
Trip Cancellation by Adventure Sixty North: While we make every effort to ensure all trips proceed as planned, Adventure Sixty North LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip before it begins for any reason, including unforeseen logistical challenges.
- Itinerary Changes: For the safety and overall quality of your experience, Adventure Sixty North LLC may need to make changes to the planned itinerary at any time. These decisions will be based on our professional judgment and extensive field experience. If you choose to withdraw from the trip due to such an alteration, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
- Weather-Related Cancellations and Refunds: Rain is very common in Alaska and rain alone does not automatically mean that a trip will be cancelled. All our scheduled trips will proceed as planned, rain or shine. Our cancellation policy will remain in effect under all weather conditions unless you receive specific notification from us otherwise.
Should Adventure Sixty North needs to cancel an activity for this reason, you will have the option to either reschedule your adventure or receive a full refund for the amount you paid for the trip. This refund applies specifically to the cost of the Adventure Sixty North activity and does not cover any expenses you may have incurred for independent travel or accommodation arrangements.
Third-Party Services: For any trips that involve the services of a water taxi company or helicopter operator, please be aware that their individual cancellation policies will also apply. These policies may differ from our own.
Buffer Days for Multi-Day Trips: If you are joining us for an overnight or multi-day adventure, we strongly recommend adding an extra day to your travel plans at both the beginning and end of your trip. While weather-related delays for drop-off and pick-up are uncommon, they can occasionally occur. Alaska’s wilderness can be unpredictable, and natural conditions may sometimes affect our schedules.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing trip and travel insurance for your upcoming Alaskan adventure to protect yourself in the event of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies during your travels.
