We’ve got the gear you need, whether you’re planning your own adventure or joining one of ours!

During Alaska’s famous salmon runs, there’s nothing like catching your own wild salmon. Rent one of our salmon rods and catch your dinner! We also offer guided salmon shore fishing trips for those who want a little extra help.
We rent hip waders, which are essential for fishing along some of our coastlines. We stock most sizes up to men’s size 14. To ensure we have your size in stock, please call us ahead of time.

Please note that our fishing poles are specifically designed for salmon fishing and are not suitable for halibut fishing or use from our kayaks. Each pole is equipped with reels and 25 lb test line, along with one weighted treble hook. Should you need additional snagging hooks or pixies, they are available for purchase in our office.

Looking to rent a sea kayak?

Our kayaks are quite popular and tend to book quickly. Due to limited availability, we recommend making your reservation as early as possible. Be aware that we exclusively offer tandem kayaks for rent.
For your convenience, we provide transportation to various locations, including X-Float, the Small Boat Harbor ramp, Fourth of July Beach, Bear Lake, and Lowell Point for both drop-offs and pick-ups.
We reserve the right to refuse kayak rentals to individuals who are not adequately prepared. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns.

Looking for a water taxi to access remote destinations?

A water taxi is required to explore the many calving glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park. These services provide essential transportation for self-guided kayaking adventures.
If you’re planning a self-guided adventure, we recommend confirming water taxi availability before renting kayaks from Adventure Sixty North. Plan ahead, as some services have limited availability and fill up quickly before the start of summer.
